that face

8 May

in this face, that face so strange

and yet so familiar

speaking in riddles, backwards forwards

eyes shining with a maniacal delight

such is the face

imagination running wild

to frolic across the blank unknown

it could be fantastic

or the worst sort of thing

imaginable

that face

contorting, becoming scarcely a face at all

a cartoon face

holding a cartoon gun

imagination run wild

breaking free of this confined poetic space

gone now

cavorting into the inner recesses of the

pockets of your jacket

ha! your problem now sailor!
