it could happen at any time
a sudden injury
a mishap
nobody sees it coming
but we all get to pay our share
of pain
concussion lies dormant
until sudden without warning
the whole body rebels
and attempts to shut down

struggling to remain online
but the pain is great
and the nausea convinces
